Tennessee Bed and Breakfasts

Everybody knows that Tennessee is home to a diverse and rich music scene but the state has much more to offer than an abundance of music venues and homes to famous musicians. Tennessee also has some of the most spectacular scenery in the country, exciting outdoor activity options, and historic sites as well. Throughout the year, at anytime visitors will find something fun and exciting to do here.

Although music isn’t the only thing that can be enjoyed here it still cannot go without being mentioned. The state is home to such famous music venues as Blue Orleans where visitors can enjoy the sound of traditional blues while feasting on fantastic Creole cuisine, the Grand Ole Opry where country music lovers can enjoy some of the best performance in the industry, and the Old City where guests can enjoy some good old rock and roll. For the classical music lovers who visit Tennessee the state boasts such fabulous shows as the Memphis Opera, the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, and the Orchestra Nashville. There is no shortage of jazz in Tennessee either and the King’s Palace Café offers some of the best in the business. And don’t forget the many bluegrass venues as well including the Laurel Theatre, the Bijou Theatre, and the Chattanooga Market just to name a few. Whatever your style of music you have come to the right place to sit back, relax, and enjoy.

Tennessee is also home to a number of cultural and historical museums as well. Culture and history are rich in the state and throughout you can find sites that pay tribute. Everything from the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art to the Belz Museum of Asian and Judaic Art to the Dixon Gallery and Gardens to the Carroll Reece Museum delight visitors every year. At the American Museum of Science and Energy visitors can explore the Manhattan Project from World War II. At the Bledsoe’s Fort Historic Park visitors have an opportunity to explore an archeological site dating back to the 1700’s, and at the Britton Lane Civil War Battlefield visitors can get a feel for what it was like during the 1862 battle. The list of cultural and historical sites and museums throughout the state is endless, Tennessee is the perfect place for those that enjoy rich history and culture.

Outdoor activities in Tennessee are exciting and they are every where you go. Visitors to the state each year come to enjoy a diverse list of adventure driven activities that will excite the entire family. The state is home to a number of waterfalls, mountains, forests, and natural wonders. Many come here such sites as the Bald River Falls, the Appalachian Caverns and Campgrounds, the Big South Fork National River, and the Chickasaw National Wildlife Refuge. From the lakes to the trees to the wildlife Tennessee boasts some of the most amazing natural scenery in the United States.
